Support the Department

We invite you to consider making a gift to MS&E.  Gifts may be directed towards the Department Excellence Fund or any of the following awards:

  • MS&E Department Excellence Fund
    The Excellence Fund supports curriculum innovation, undergraduate research, exploratory research, and other activities to help propel the department. 

  • Materials Design Award
    This award is given to a senior, who demonstrated outstanding engineering skills, leadership and team player qualities during their studies at RPI.  Read more about the Materials Design Award.

  • Doreen Ball-DiFazio Award in Materials Engineering
    The  award is given to a female senior or co-terminal student who demonstrates academic excellence and outstanding service. Read more about the Doreen Ball-DiFazio Award.

  • Istvan S. Moritz Award in Materials Engineering
    This award is given to a deserving co-terminal student pursuing a degree in Materials Engineering who has demonstrated a record of academic excellence and outstanding service contribution. Read more about the Istvan S. Moritz Award.
